Our Manual Handling Training is a training course specifically designed to provide your employees with the knowledge required to safely handle objects in your work environment, in a way which reduces injury and promotes safety in the workplace.
Participants learn about the requirements set forth by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHO), as amended, as well as a broad range of related topics.
Having worked closely with a number of specialists, we have designed a training course that is effective and memorable.
Each training course can be customized to specifically address issues related to a specific role/position/work requirement, or to a more broad level, to include general information applicable to all employees.
The aim of the training is not just to show and practice safe handling techniques and correct posture/mechanics of handling objects, but also to empower the participants with the critical knowledge necessary to prevent injury in the workplace and proactively risk assess new tasks/requirements as presented by their day to day working environment.
The Manual Handling Training is held on your premises, for up to 15 people, and is designed to give your staff the skills, confidence and knowledge required to carry out effective Manual Handling Training.
Duration
Manual Handling Training courses are designed around the time available for staff and usually range between 2 and 3 hours long.
Customisation
As the Manual Handling Training is delivered in your premises, we recommend that each client customises the training by providing us with your company’s logo, Manual Handling Training policy and any other relevant information that can be used in the course and should be shared with all participants. The information provided will then be added to the relevant section of the training and will be included as an integral part of the training course. There is no additional charge for customisation.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the training, each participant is issued with a Certificate of Attendance, which are sent directly to your office within a few days of the training course. Additional testing of knowledge gained may be provided depending on your specific requirements.
