Our Health and Safety Induction Training is a training course designed to present your employees with the basic Health and Safety training they require to carry out their duties.
Ideal for new employees, it is usually delivered shortly before or after an employee has joined your organization (or has transferred from another office or floor).
Firstly participants learn about your company’s Health and Safety Policy.
They also receive an overview of your Fire and Emergency Evacuation procedures and details on how Manual Handling and DSE Training will take place. Other key Health and Safety Topics are discussed if required, such as Working at Heights and Control of Dangerous Substances.
The Health and Safety Induction course is not intended and cannot be used, as a substitute for any of the specific Health and Safety training requirements necessary to comply with current legislation. It is an introductory session designed to ensure all employees are familiar with your Health and Safety policy and procedures.
Each training course can be customised to specifically address issues related to a specific role/position/work requirement or to a more broad level to include general information applicable to all employees.
Duration
Health and Safety Training courses are designed around the time available for staff and usually range between 1 and 2 hours long.
Customisation
As the Health and Safety Training is delivered in your premises, we recommend that each client customises the training by providing us with your company’s logo, Health and Safety policy and procedures and any other relevant information that can be used in the course and should be shared with all participants. There is no additional charge for customisation.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the training, each participant is issued with a Certificate of Attendance, which are sent directly to your office within a few days of the training course. Additional testing of knowledge gained may be provided depending on your specific requirements.
