If you are looking to train your staff exclusively on how to use Fire Extinguishers, our Fire Extinguisher Training Course has been designed specifically for this purpose.
Fire Extinguisher Training provides the knowledge and practical experience needed by your staff to safely use all types of Fire Extinguishers/Fire Blankets. It also provides your employees with a basic understanding of fire, how it is spread and vital fire safety precautions. Different types of fires are covered in detail and each class is taught which extinguisher to use in each circumstance.
As with all our training courses, you can be sure that this course too is designed to be interesting, interactive, legally compliant and, just as importantly, fun!
The Fire Extinguisher Training is held on your premises, for up to 15 people, and is designed to give your appointed Fire Wardens the skills and knowledge they need to carry out their duties and ensure the safety of your staff and premises.
Duration
Fire Extinguisher Training courses are designed around the time available for staff and usually range between 1 and 2 hours long.
Equipment and Fire Simulator Trailer
This training course is delivered on the client’s premises. The training includes the operation of various fire extinguishers, using our Live Fire Simulator. This allows us to demonstrate safe practices on a number of different types of fires and provides first hand experience to the participants in a safe and controlled environment.
To ensure that we comply with our insurance requirements, we need to be able to position the trailer in an open space (approximately the space is the equivalent of 2-3 parking spaces).
Certification
Upon successful completion of the training, each participant is issued with a Certificate of Attendance, which are sent directly to your office within a few days of the training course. Additional testing of the knowledge gained may be provided depending on your specific requirements.
