Our Fire Awareness and Evacuation Training, is a training course specifically designed to provide the training required to ensure that your appointed evacuation staff can confidently and safely carry out your company’s evacuation procedures. It also covers basic principles of Fire Safety and it is an ideal course for existing Fire Wardens/Marshals or new and existing Evacuation Officers/Marshals.
Fire Emergency is the number one cause for building evacuation in the country and it is important that your staff are trained on fire safety principles. However, evacuation training is of paramount importance, not just in case of a fire emergency, but for other emergencies as well. There are many scenarios that could require your premises to be evacuated and our training is designed to ensure that your staff are trained and competent to act quickly when required.
We know that different emergencies may require different evacuation plans and it is vital that your staff are trained to be able to respond to each instance, where evacuating the premises is necessary.
If your company has specific evacuation procedures and designated evacuation marshals, which may or may not be the same employees that are also Fire Wardens/Marshals, this training course will completely address their training requirements and ensure your procedures are fully understood and followed.
The Fire Awareness and Evacuation Training Course is held on your premises, for up to 15 people, and is designed to give your staff the skills, confidence and knowledge required to carry out their important duties should an evacuation be required.
Duration
Fire Warden Training courses are designed around the time available for staff and usually range between 2 and 3 hours long.
Customisation
As the Fire Awareness and Evacuation Training is delivered in your premises, we recommend that each client customises the training by providing us with your company’s logo, fire emergency procedures, evacuation plans and procedures and any other relevant information that needs to be shared with your employees. The information provided will then be added to the relevant section of the training and will be included as an integral part of the training course. There is no additional charge for customisation.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the training, each participant is issued with a Certificate of Attendance, which are sent directly to your office within a few days of the training course. Additional testing of the knowledge gained may be provided depending on your specific requirements.
